He likes to capture the unexpected perspective in order to create unique images whether captured by a DSLR camera or an iPhone.

Then we’ll explore visually evocative locations in the Twin Cities to capture some compelling images. And finally I’ll show you how to enhance those images in surprising ways with popular & easy-to-use photo apps.

Charles is known for his attention to detail whether it is noticing candid moments in people’s lives or the unique features of buildings. He has contributed to numerous photography exhibits in the US. His award-winning photographs have been exhibited & published in different venues. He is a recipient of the international 2014 Mobile Photography Awards Honorable Mentions for Travel & Self-Portrait photography. Charles also received an honorable mention in the Animals category of the 2015 international iPhone photo contest awarded by the iPhone Photography Awards (IPPA). He won the 1st place in the Mobile Photo contest and 2nd place in the Como Park, Zoo and Conservatory contest held by Minnesota Exposure in 2015.
